Recent Buy - Capital One Investing

Another week has come and gone. Another week, another dollar was placed towards my early retirement freedom. This is an update to recent weekly Capital One Investing. I place the following orders on the last two weekly purchases. This should complete this years purchases. As we look forward to new year with fresh new goals and capital to invest. I will switch up and buy one stock per month, with a minimum of $250 per purchase to minimize on the fees and concentrated on more detail research where to invest.

Recent Buy - Sharebuilder

I was time to start another position to add to my growing portfolio of funds which one day will free me for mundane work which we all know I am starting to hate. I do enjoy the job, but not the politics of it or getting up 1 AM four days a week to get to work on time. With that been said I chose to start a position in Medtronic (MDT).

Medtronic is a global healthcare solutions company with over $9 billion dollars in revenue. They are a major player in most leading medical devices therapies and solutions in more than 150 countries and counting. They recently merged with Covidien which should boost profits within the minimal invasive division.

On December 18 I purchased 4 shares of MDT @ 76.77 total cost of 314.03

I do believed it's a little bit overprice on short term basis but it does have room to grow with the Covidien merger going forward. MDT current yield is 1.96% which gives it room to keep on raising dividend for next 10 to 20 years. I have been wanting to buy this stock for awhile know and I figure it was just about the right time to start the position moving forward and grew both the shares and dividend.

I apologized for not posting up to date buys as they occur, it's been a busy month getting things done to refinance the house. Which I hope will eventually free up some more capital for investing in high quality growth stocks who consistently increase their dividend year after year. Of course the recently dividend cut by KMI showed need to look beyond dividend yield specially when it sky rocks.

With that been said I have some catch up to write on the next few days after the holiday break.

This week was another fun investing week. Like the saying goes another week another dollar going towards building passive income. Which one day will supplant my income from a job I do not wish to get up anymore to go perform. I am still dedicated to the mission and goals at work and perform 110% while there but, I yarn the day I will not have to get up 1 AM to be at work with very limited amount of sleep.  Here is an update to recent purchases from last two weeks on loyal3 account. The reason I like using this broken is there are no fees associated with stock purchases and you can make small purchases as low as $10 per stock.

Recent Buy -Loyal3

Another week has come and gone. Another week, another dollar was placed towards my early retirement freedom. This week on my weekly Loyal3 account I place the following orders on Dec 4 to start the month. A total of $110.00 was seeded. In the near future the seed planted today, will continue to grow to be a strong olive tree, that will keep baring fruits to fund my freedom from getting up at 1 AM 5 days a week.
