June IV purchase
With the World Cup 2018 in full swing, its has been hard to find time to do anything else. This month for sure has been a busy month for my family with a lot of different activities go, including the most important part of our lives, volunteerism. With that being said, I still found time to continue to regularly invest in the market no matter what Mr. Market does.
This time I finally found time to start switching to Robin hood as my choice for broker. The beauty is that they are commission free. This will free cash up to include more future share purchase. I really enjoyed using capital one investing as I used them since 2001/2002, cannot really remember when exactly I started. However it was around that time. It has gone from various different owner from Share builder to ING Direct to Capital one Investing. Their price structure has change with each new owner to worst and worst. Know with the sale to E-Trade not really sure what to expect. So it was time to start exploring other options. Also a few of my readers have recommended this move in the past so it was time to experience this change.
So here is what I purchase, which are all initial purchase in the stock mention below
June 13
GE 20 Shares @ $14.00 = $280.00
LEG 5 Shares @ $44.60 = $223.00
MRK 2 Shares @ $62.60 = $125.20
June 14
GE 2 Shares @ $13.64 = $27.28
What a way to start my investment in Robin hood platform. Hopefully I can start adding more shares here to at least average down. I think GE may go down even more and I hope to add it while its down rather than up. Also I still will add more shares to my holding at Capital one Investing up to when they move or sold those assets to E-Trade, at which time I will be transferring all those assets here to Robin hood, as it will be easier to built on those shares.
