June 2021 Dividend Income

    New Month and it is time to count last month dividend income that we received across all our accounts.  I have to say, the begining of a new month are my favorite time of the month.  It gives dividend investors opportunity to count the dividend and track progress to Financial Freedom (FI).  I am still not sold on the ocncept of Financial Independe Retire Early (FIRE).  I am mostly sold on the concept of FI.  Freedom to choose how to live, where to live, how to choose the lifestyle you desire, are more appeal to me than the concept of retiring early.

That is why I am a Dividend Investor.  Passively growing ones dividend which creates a power of compounding as you allowed the dividend to keep growing by investing the dividend via DRIP method.

So without further ado let us review last month progress.

Hope you had a great month as well.  I no longer share my individual Stocks holding, because it is time consuming and it takes a lot of time to track.  Because I am pursuing FI to achieve freedom and free myself from daily routine of 9-5 job and 3 hours of daily traffic commute, it makes sense for me at this time to not spend time reporting all my individual stocks and instead focus on the total for the month.

    Begining of a new month, that means it is time to count last month dividend income.  Every Dividend investor favorite time of the month.  This allows you to consider how far you have come and ponder where are you going towards your ultimate dream of achieving Financial Independence (FI).  

FI has been my goal since 2014, Dividend and real estate are main two main sources of achieving FI.

 Wow, this is our best month ever $425.87 in one month.  A new milestone for sure for us for sure.  For the month of May 2021, on our individual account we total $293.16, also a milestone for us.  We also collected $132.71 in our combine tax advantage accounts.

  It is that time again, the begining of the new month.  Time to reflect on possible new investment for the month and time to count the previous month dividend payout.  There has been a lot of noise in the market specially with meme stocks.  As a long term invester, I am focusing on building my passive income via dividend payout and cash flow from real estate.  Today we will report my dividend payout for month of April 2021.

Without further ado let us count the dividend received from our various accounts:

We received a total of $358.72 in dividend in the month of April 2021, a new record for us to start the second quarter.

We received $285.15 on our non-taxable accounts and $73.57 in the taxable accounts.  

Since we are trying to reach Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE).  We are investing mostly in our non-taxable accounts, this will give us access to our accounts earlier if we need to to tap into it.  RE side of FIRE, is not our goal, but Financial independence to be able to make choices and decide what to do with my time.  That is the ultimate goal.  

Today driving to work I was meditating about spending 8 hours at work, plus 3 hour round trip communte, this is exhausting and takes all my energy and leaves no decent time for family time.  It seems every thing is rush to be done after such a lond day at work.

That is the reason why I am pursuing FIRE.

MARCH 2021 DIVIDEND UPDATE

 DIVIDEND UPDATE MARCH 2021

     Begining of every month is very dividend investor favorite time of the month.  Time to pause and reflect on previous month dividend income.  It is like a clock work, just hits your account on a monthly basis, almost predictable when each company will pay their dividend.  I invest in companies that are stable and able to aford to pay their shareholders dividend every quarter or monthly.  

    One day i hope to have my passive income cover my life expenses, I am far from there but the sooner you start the faster you can reach your financial independence (FI).  I am not realy sure if I will retire for say.  However, FI will provide more options in life to choose your path forward.  How you spend your time.  Time is one thing you can not go back to, once past it is gone.  That is the only thing I remember form my 8th grade class.  A valuable lesson for sure!

 Last Month, we finaly open our a M1 finance , we hope to continue build this account over the years little by little.  We choose a range of stock and we using a pie chart to invest a percentage on various stocks I long to own over the years.  This is automatic and it invest based on the percentage of each assign stocks i wish to hold on the portofolio.

    End of the month is my favorite time of the month.  I plan to count my dividend income received on the prior month, compare it to my goals and plan ahead for next months purchases.  We plan to buy at least twice a month and we investing in various of our accounts.  We ae focusing mostly on the taxable accounts as we will drawn from that account earlier than our taxable advantage accounts.   

    Without further ado, let us review last month totals.  We received a total of $352.84, in dividend for the month of February 2021, of which $246.13, is in our robinhood account, disclaimer if you sign up we received a stock and so do you. 

We also received $51.91 in our combine IRA accounts, and $54.80 in our ROTH IRA accounts.  Below is a summary of all the companies who paid us dividend for the month of February 2021.

Hope you had a great month as well as we did, our dividend continue to grow month after month and year after year.  We currently do not have a set date to reach Financial Independence (FI), but we will continue on the path to FI.  Some time in the next five to ten years we will reach the ultimate goal and will have the options to choose what comes next.  Having the options is my goal, not necessary that I will retire but have the ability to make the choices is a great feeling i think.

        Mr. Market always has news that suprises investors new and old alike on a daily and weekly basis.  For dividend investor we tend to ignore the daily noise create by Mr. Market and focus on our progress and review where we need to make improvements and continue keep investing with long term view. 

So without further ado let us review last month dividend income sumary for January 2021.

We received a total of $270.59 in dividend for the month of January 2021.  Please note I added a W to Mrs. Dividend Pursuit stocks to differentiate between our two accounts.

Here is a breakdown from where the dividends came from on our accounts.

We received $208.52 in our combine taxable accounts, IRA accounts $38.55 and Roth Accounts $23.52.

Real estate passive income was $250.00 for the month.  Next month expenses will be higher for sure we had a tenant move and we turn the apartment by fixing few items including doing floors in both bathrooms and the kitchen.  Total Passive income for the month was $520.59.

What a year 2020 was!  I am glad the year is over and we start to look at a new year the hope is great.  Mr. Market has been in a tear to close the year, for sure the volatality is greater then the this time last year for sure.  For any dividend investor we tend to focus on continue building passive income that will surpass our yearly expenses.  To that end the end of the month is the best time of any dividend investor.  We take a look back at the previous month and see how we did?  Where we heading?  How much progress we have made?  How much more we need to achieve, to reach our ultimate goal.

So without further ado let us review last month dividend income sumary for December 2020.

We received a total of $346.81 in dividend for the month of December 2020.  Please note I added a W to Mrs. Dividend Pursuit stocks to differentiate between our two accounts.
