OCTOBER 2021 DIVIDEND INCOME

 October 2021 Dividend Income

It is that time again, a new month and time to count my Dividend from last month of October 2021.

I find my self struggling to find time to write this post.  It may be a sign that I have way to much going on in my life that at times I am struggling to write a simple post.  I will try to keep this simple today.

One update besides the dividend, we also closed on a new rental property on October 29th.  This will help us scale our rental portfolio and provide additional income that we could invest to speed up our journey to Financial Independence (FI), at this point I am not sure about the Retire Early (RE) in FIRE.

Without further ado here is the breakdown from last month Dividend income received.  We received a total of $403.10 in dividend across all our accounts.  We received $318.71 on our taxable accounts and $84.39 from our tax advantage accounts.

Our Rental Property collected $1407.00 in passive income last month.  We had a good month last month.

How did you do last month?  Did you have a great month?

SEPTEMBER 2021 DIVIDEND INCOME

    September 2021 Dividend  Update

Where has the time go?   We are already in the fall I can believe the time has gone by so fast. As we start new month, which starts the 4th quarter the last part of the year.  With a new month it is time to dive in to last month number and see how I am progressing towards my Financial Independence (FI).

For sure the market is going through a lot of volatility, as a long term investor I tend not to pay attention munch of what Mr. market does.  I tend to stick to my strategy of buying exceptional companies and build my passive income via dividend.

Without further ado let us review last month's numbers:

For the month of September We received a total of $537.22.   On our Taxable accounts we collected $452.11 in dividend and out taxable account we collected $85.11 in dividend for the month of September.  This brings the total dividend collected for the year to $3575.97.

Wow- this is a new monthly record dividend collected over $500 in dividend.   This Month we could had pay car payment for Toyota Tacoma $399.99, cell phone bill $168.00, gas for the house $32.00 and almost fill up gas on our Honda Accord $37.22.

Overall a solid month, I can see the value of continuing to invest in solid dividend paying stocks with a track record of continue to raised and grow their dividend year-after-year.

How did you do last month?  Did you had a good month?

August 2021 Dividend Report

 August 2021 Dividend Report

New month is upon us, time to reflect on last month dividend collect passively without lifting a finger, except the foresight of investing in quality companies that pay dividend to their shareholders.  The market keep reaching all time highs and it has been difficult to find companies to invest in.  However, it has also has present opportunity to keep building shares on companies I already own to build my dividend income passively.

Without further ado let us review last month's dividend payout.

Year-to-DateAugust 2021
$3038.75$476.62
IRA$71.63
ROTH$62.35
Individual $260.41
Mrs. Dividend Pursuit$73.11
HSA account$7.82
M1 Finance$1.30
TOTAL $476.62

Wow, what a month a record month since I started tracking and invest in dividend paying stocks, $476.62 for the month of August 2021.  My Tax Advantage account total $141.80, and brokerage account total $334.82.  This is real money that could be deployed to cover cost of living right now if I choose to do so. However, I choose to reinvest the dividend back to the respective stocks to continue to grown the dividend for the future.

Last month with the total dividend collected $476.62, I could have paid the following bills that were due: Car payment of $399.99 and Internet with Verizon Fios for $75.00 and still have $1.62, which could had bought less than a gallon of gas for my lawnmower.  All in all a good solid month of dividend payout. As of August we have collected $3038.75 in passive dividend year-to-date.

How did you do last month?  did you had a good month?

June 2021 Dividend Income

 June 2021 Dividend Income

New Month and it is time to count last month dividend income that we received across all our accounts.  I have to say, the begining of a new month are my favorite time of the month.  It gives dividend investors opportunity to count the dividend and track progress to Financial Freedom (FI).  I am still not sold on the ocncept of Financial Independe Retire Early (FIRE).  I am mostly sold on the concept of FI.  Freedom to choose how to live, where to live, how to choose the lifestyle you desire, are more appeal to me than the concept of retiring early.

That is why I am a Dividend Investor.  Passively growing ones dividend which creates a power of compounding as you allowed the dividend to keep growing by investing the dividend via DRIP method.

So without further ado let us review last month progress.

StocksJune 2021
$2,200.79$389.21
IRA$56.44
ROTH$24.29
Individual$259.18
Mrs. Dividend Pursuit$42.18
HSA account$3.95
M1 Finance$3.17
TOTAL$389.21

There you have it another solid month reaching $389.21 in passive dividend for the month.

Hope you had a great month as well.  I no longer share my individual Stocks holding, because it is time consuming and it takes a lot of time to track.  Because I am pursuing FI to achieve freedom and free myself from daily routine of 9-5 job and 3 hours of daily traffic commute, it makes sense for me at this time to not spend time reporting all my individual stocks and instead focus on the total for the month.

I hope you also had a great month collecting dividends?

Begining of a new month, that means it is time to count last month dividend income.  Every Dividend investor favorite time of the month.  This allows you to consider how far you have come and ponder where are you going towards your ultimate dream of achieving Financial Independence (FI).
FI has been my goal since 2014, Dividend and real estate are main two main sources of achieving FI.

Without further ado let us review how we did last month:

April 2021 Dividend update

 April 2021 Dividend Update

It is that time again, the begining of the new month.  Time to reflect on possible new investment for the month and time to count the previous month dividend payout.  There has been a lot of noise in the market specially with meme stocks.  As a long term invester, I am focusing on building my passive income via dividend payout and cash flow from real estate.  Today we will report my dividend payout for month of April 2021.

Without further ado let us count the dividend received from our various accounts:

We received a total of $358.72 in dividend in the month of April 2021, a new record for us to start the second quarter.

StocksApril 2021
$1,721.71$358.72
IRA$28.93
ROTH$35.13
Individual$208.50
Mrs. Dividend pursuit$75.38
HSA account$9.51
M1 Finance$1.27
TOTAL$358.72
We received $285.15 on our non-taxable accounts and $73.57 in the taxable accounts.
Since we are trying to reach Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE).  We are investing mostly in our non-taxable accounts, this will give us access to our accounts earlier if we need to to tap into it.  RE side of FIRE, is not our goal, but Financial independence to be able to make choices and decide what to do with my time.  That is the ultimate goal.

Today driving to work I was meditating about spending 8 hours at work, plus 3 hour round trip communte, this is exhausting and takes all my energy and leaves no decent time for family time.  It seems every thing is rush to be done after such a lond day at work.

That is the reason why I am pursuing FIRE.

How did you do last month?
Did you have a good month?
