December 2024 Dividend Updates
Wow! The year has come to an end and time to reflect on dividend collected for December and plan ahead for the next year. As the year came to a close I end up selling some laggards and take the tax loss for the year. I am also in the process of selling some of the individual stocks and plan to buy non paying dividend for the first time and bet on some growth stocks. Since the time horizon is 15 years before I am abole to drawn from this account or any of my IRA or ROTH accounts. If i reach Financial Independence (FI) prior to that, I will rely mainly on the real estate investment to cover my expenses.
But, without further ado, lets review December payout. For the month of December 2024, we collected a total of $832.68. To close the year, collecting a total of $8,346.79, in dividend.
Some big wins to close the year. I finish paying off my Toyota Tacoma, two and half (2.5) years before the loan due date. I will save a total of $60 in interest monthly by doing this.
